I am an independent journalist, covering U.S.-India relations for BBC News India. In 2024, I flew from New Delhi to New York to pursue a master's degree in investigative journalism at Columbia University. I'm committed to uncovering stories that hold power to account through ground reports and deep analysis.
I cover immigration, courts, labor, and politics in India and the U.S. I take a human-centered, multimedia approach to my work and often dig into government records, legal documents, and data using tools like Excel and R to bring new issues to light. My work has appeared in multiple languages and across both print and video formats.

I have over 40 bylines in national and international outlets, including BBC News India, The Indian Express, The Reporters’ Collective, and The Times of India, and more. My reports have been viewed by more than 1 million people on YouTube and have prompted local government bodies to take action.
