I am an independent journalist, covering U.S.-India relations for BBC News India. In 2024, I flew from New Delhi to New York to pursue a master's degree in investigative journalism at Columbia University. I'm committed to uncovering stories that hold power to account through ground reports and deep analysis.

I cover immigration, courts, labor, and politics in India and the U.S. I take a human-centered, multimedia approach to my work and often dig into government records, legal documents, and data using tools like Excel and R to bring new issues to light.
